A merino wool duvet and body temperature

You know, I really hate getting up early in the morning. I"m a typical night owl so I usually go to bed late at night, at one or even two p.m., and I get up at nine in the morning. Of course, sometimes I have to get up earlier, but then I"m usually sulky and irritated all day long. What^s more, I tend to fall asleep in the afternoon. One of the things that I hate in the morning is the difference in temperatures. Your body is much warmer under the comfortable duvet, and the room might be quite cold. I just hate the first feeling when I get out of the bed and have to rush to the bathroom. I usually put on a sweatshirt first. But I must tell you that I have recently started using a merino wool duvet and the difference is significant. Now I still feel warm at night under the duvet, but in fact getting up is no longer a shocking experience. I wonder if the breathability of the fabric plays a role here. After all, wool can keep your body warm or cool, depending on the needs, but at the same time it provides excellent air flow. Anyway, I am going to get another merino wool duvet, this time a heavy one for long and cold winter nights. Actually, getting up at winter can be painful as well, but I hope the new duvet will change everything.
